Unlike traditional liquid sprayers, Scirocco uses a dry distribution system based on an air flow generated by a manual bellows. This technology, traditionally used for sulfur distribution in vineyards and orchards, allows for uniform coverage of plant surfaces without the use of water or liquid mixtures.
The HDPE (high-density polyethylene) tank has a capacity of 5 kg of product and is UV-resistant, a particularly important feature for outdoor applications and continuous use throughout the growing season. The entire machine is constructed with corrosion-resistant thermoplastic materials, ideal for prolonged contact with sulfur and technical powders.
The heart of the system consists of a double-action bellows made of special high-resistance rubber. This mechanism generates air flow both during compression and expansion of the bellows, ensuring continuous powder distribution and more uniform crop coverage compared to traditional single-action systems.
A practical external lever allows continuous adjustment of the amount of product distributed, adapting the output to different treatment requirements. Inside the tank there is also a robust mechanical lump breaker, designed to crush any powder aggregates and maintain constant product flow even in the presence of humidity or long storage periods.
Standard equipment includes two extension tubes, a flexible hose and a fan-shaped diffuser nozzle, a particularly effective solution for uniform sulfur distribution on vine rows, fruit trees, vegetables and hedges. The professional configuration provides for use with the left arm, a solution traditionally adopted in professional sulfur dusters.
