SELF-PRIMING MANUAL PUMP FOR SUCTION AND PRESSURIZATION

Vulcano

Vulcano is the self-priming manual pump by Dal Degan designed for suctioning and moving liquids from open containers, tanks, cisterns, streams, ponds, and other external sources, with subsequent pressurized delivery through a spray lance. Unlike traditional pressure pumps and knapsack sprayers, Vulcano does not use an integrated tank, but draws liquid directly from the source via a suction hose equipped with a filter. Operation is powered by a robust manual lever system that activates the pumping unit. The suctioned liquid is collected and pressurized in a large accumulation chamber, ensuring a smooth and continuous flow even between strokes and improving operational efficiency during work. The feature that makes Vulcano unique is the pumping unit entirely made of brass. The pump body, compression chambers, and accumulation chamber are built from this material, traditionally used in professional hydraulic applications for its high corrosion resistance, long-term durability, and excellent compatibility with numerous liquids. Brass valves with steel balls ensure reliability, precision, and a long service life even under intensive use. The entire system is mounted on a robust painted steel stand with a wide and stable base, designed to keep the pump off the ground and promote an ergonomic working position. The long steel operating lever allows for significant pumping capacity while reducing the effort required by the operator. The equipment includes the suction hose with filter, a professional LA6001 all-brass lance, a 50 cm extension, and a fixed rose spray nozzle, allowing for immediate use of the pump without additional accessories. Vulcano is ideal for use in the construction, industrial, and agricultural sectors for applying primers, water-based paints, surface treatments, and liquid products on large surfaces. It is also suitable for transferring and pressurizing non-potable water for treatment and purification plants, as well as for use in livestock farms, construction sites, and outdoor applications where liquids need to be drawn directly from natural sources or external containers.
Fields of Application
  • Industry: industrial painting, application of primers and water-based paints on large surfaces
  • Construction: treatment of facades, walls, wall supports
  • Outdoor: suction from streams, ponds, tanks and open containers
  • Suction and transfer of non-potable water to reverse osmosis purification units
  • Handling of liquids from natural sources in construction sites and agricultural contexts
  • Special applications requiring a pump without integrated tank
