Comet MC18 Pump for Acids

The Comet MC18 Pump for Acids and Alkalis is the professional diaphragm pump of Italian manufacture selected by Dal Degan for applications requiring high chemical resistance and long-term reliability. It is designed for handling acidic products, alkaline detergents, professional disinfectants, saline solutions, kaolin and numerous substances that could rapidly damage a traditional pump with aluminum components. The main difference from the standard version of the MC18 lies in the materials used for all parts in contact with the liquid. The hydraulic parts, heads and manifolds are made of polypropylene and stainless steel, while the diaphragms are constructed in FKM/FPM (Viton® family), a fluoroelastomer known for its excellent resistance to numerous acids, solvents, detergents and aggressive chemicals. This configuration allows the pump to maintain high operational performance even in demanding and continuous applications. The pump is equipped with an integrated pressure regulator, which allows easy adaptation of the operating pressure to different application requirements. The manifold is also prepared for connection of a second outlet, allowing simultaneous use of two lances or management of two separate distribution lines. The Comet MC18 for Acids and Alkalis is available in two configurations:

Pump only, for integration on spraying units, wheelbarrows, custom systems and existing machines.
Complete electric motor pump, with single-phase 230 V motor and speed reducer, ideal for professional indoor applications where quiet operation, zero emissions and ease of use represent fundamental requirements.

With a flow rate of 11.9 liters per minute and a maximum pressure of 15 bar, the pump is suitable both for spraying plant protection products and professional detergents, and for controlled distribution of technical liquids in agriculture, food industry, industrial maintenance and professional sanitation.
