APS51

APS 51 is the mid-range Comet high-pressure diaphragm pump, the first model in the three-diaphragm APS series. Dal Degan uses it in intermediate-range sprayers and spraying units, where higher performance than the APS 31 is required in terms of flow rate and delivery smoothness. The three-diaphragm configuration offers substantial advantages over two-diaphragm pumps: greater delivery smoothness, lower residual pulsations, better workload distribution between pistons, and longer diaphragm life for the same overall flow rate. Diaphragms are NBR as standard (Desmopan® and Viton on request), with anodized aluminum contact parts and quickly inspectable valves all located on the delivery side, with stainless steel seats and plates. The pump is equipped with a standard safety valve, which discharges overpressure in the event of a regulation system malfunction. Pressure accumulator and P.T.O. protection are available on request. Motor pump versions receive cataphoresis treatment for superior corrosion resistance.
